Haflinger restoration

Hello dear Haflingerfriends,

I am the owner of 2 Haflingers. I bought them from a friend who ended his hobby. My intention is to restore at least one into a top condition. I am looking for somebody who can do a complete restoration of the chassis/suspension, gearbox and mechanical parts, and motor. I can do the coachwork myself, since my neighbour has a workshop for bodywork (we allready did an Unimog 407 ). I can bring the vehicle to Austria, Switzerland or wherever needed.
I am planning to attend the meeting on 15-16-17 June. If you want to do this job for me, please contact me so that we can discuss the work fee and the agenda when to start.
I am also interested in good quality pictures of restored Haflingers, that can serve as a guide to me. The decision of what finish and color has not been taken yet. Please send me your pictures or links.
I hope I can find someone through this forum. I do not have any experience in the Haflinger mechanics.

"Ich besitze zwei Haflinger. Ich habe sie einem Freund abgekauft, der sein Hobby beendet hat. Ich habe vor, zumindest einen davon in Topzustand zurückzuversetzen. Ich suche jemanden, der eine Gesamtrestauration durchführen kann - Mechanik bis Motor. Die Karosserie kann ich selbst machen, da mein Nachbar einen Betrieb für Karosseriearbeiten hat (wir haben bereits einen Unimog restauriert). Ich kann das Auto nach Österreich, in die Schweiz oder Europa generell transportieren für die Restauration.

Ich habe vor, das Treffen in Bad Ischl zu besuchen. Wenn Du Interesse hast die Restauration zu machen, dann tritt bitte mit mir in Kontakt damit wir die Kosten und den Zeitplan diskutieren können.

Ebenfalls interessiert bin ich an Fotos die mir bei der Restauration helfen können. Die Entscheidung punkto Farbe ist noch nicht getroffen. Bitte schickt mir Photos oder Links zu Photos.

Wenn jemand helfen kann aber sich über's Englisch nicht drübertraut - ich vermittle gerne. Auch Infos wer solche Restaurationen macht sind willkommen.

Regarding photos of Haflingers - a "couple" of front shots do exist in our photo gallery (all Haflingers that took part in 2005):

You can see lots of Haflingers in the other galleries too, navigation should be easy enough, and the high-res images are available by clicking on the images itself.
